VINYLET
Android · Google Play · Music widget

A spinning record for whatever you play.

Vinylet puts a vinyl turntable, a cassette deck or a retro player on your home screen. It shows the song playing right now in your music app — cover, title, artist and time — with play, pause and skip buttons.

Free with ads. Vinylet Pro removes ads and unlocks every skin and effect — yearly with a 3-day free trial, monthly, or once for life.

01 · Works with your music apps

Whatever is playing

Works with most music apps that show playback controls. The widget follows the song, and tapping the cover opens your player.

02 · Four styles

Vinyl, cassette, retro player

Turntable, Cassette, Retro Player and Wave Strip widgets in several sizes, each with its own skins.

03 · Skins & colors

Feels like real hi-fi

Walnut, brushed aluminium, cream plastic. Colors come from the album art, or pick a retro palette.

04 · 0% app CPU

Spins without draining battery

The record turns inside your launcher. No background polling, no wake locks, no constant refreshing.

05 · Desk mode

For your nightstand

A full-screen turntable with a clock that stays on while your phone charges.

06 · Silent clips

Share a spinning story

Export a short video of the spinning record — with no audio — then add the song with your story app's own music feature.

Why Notification access?

Android only lets an app see what's playing in other apps once you turn on Notification access for it. Vinylet uses it to read the media playback info your music app shows in its controls — title, artist, album art, play/pause state. Other notifications are ignored and never read or stored. You can turn it off anytime in Settings › Notification access.

Private by design

No microphone. No access to your files. No account. Everything is processed on your phone, nothing you listen to is uploaded, and no listening history is kept. Read the privacy policy.
